Introduction to Paverpol

In this workshop Tracey Lipman will demonstrate how to use Paverpol to replicate appliqué quilting techniques. She will show you how to add texture to your wall quilts and use Paverpol to 'starch' your fabric.

Time permitting she will also demonstrate how to use your favorite fabrics with Paverpol to make functional and home decor items.

She is available to answer your questions at this informal demonstration.

Workshop Two
Paverpol, Fabric and Glass - A Match Made in Textile Heaven

Cost: 150 shekels (includes one glass bowl and one glass plate to cover with your favorite fabrics, fabrics can be purchased from Pissott on the day).
 

In this workshop Tracey Lipman will teach you how to use Paverpol to attach fabric to glass. She will show you how to use Paverpol to make your glassware water resistant, rendering it fully functional and washable.

Tracey will also demonstrate how to color Paverpol with pigment powders and show you how to use these rich colors to make your own pure cotton fibre bowl. She will show you how to use an ordinary household item as a removable mold. You can purchase extra materials on the day to make your own cotton bowl in the workshop or at home.

Please note: Paverpol only sticks to natural fibres, such as cotton, linen, wool or silk. Paverpol does not work with manmade fabrics.

Workshop Three
Fabric Flowers, Blooming Marvelous

Cost: 130 shekels (includes materials to make your own flowers, fabrics can be purchased from Pissott on the day).

In this workshop Tracey Lipman will show you how to make fabric flowers. She will show you how to add a realistic stem so you can put them in a vase or you can use them as embellishments for your other projects. You will learn how to use Paverpol to 'starch' your material which you can then use to make a variety of flowers.

Tracey will also demonstrate how to color Paverpol with pigment powders and show you how to use these rich colors to make your own cotton fibre or open weave knit vases, around a removable mold. You have the option to purchase extra materials on the day to make your own vase in the workshop or at home.
